We all had such a great trip back to MN! A few pics are here and more in one of the albums on the right. Highlights of the trip included:* The MN State Fair (too many cheese curds tho)!
* A few days at my grandparents cabin in northern MN. I learned to Wake Ski, took both kids tubing and Cole on the wave runner. And they also just loved swimming along the lakeshore and spending time with their Great Papa and Dee Dee.
* The Firemuster and Firetruck parade. Riding again in Papa Kirk's firetruck and Kaitlynn dressed as the most adorable firegirl!
* The Slip n Slide. The kids couldn't get enough of that freezing water! They just loved running up the hill and flying back down. Cole was a crazy man!!!
* Spending time with the uncle buncles! Every time Keith would walk in a room Cole would yell "Keeeeeeeeth"
* Sending Kent off to college and then going to visit him at UW-Superior. It was a whirlwing trip completed with Kaitlynn puking the whole way home, but we all loved getting to spend that extra time with Kent and seeing his 'pad' and schoool.
* SCRAPFEST for mommy!
* Swimming swimming and more swimming. The kids couldn't get enough and luckily Uncle Keith was always up for a refreshing soak. Cole has NO FEAR and would just run and jump - hoping someone was in the vicinity to catch him.
* Spending time with our dear friends Heather (Annika and Anders) and Sarah (Julia and precious baby Grant).
* Going to a Twins game (mommy and Cole with Nana and Papa)
* Visiting Gigi in Hastings (oops - Cole broke a vase within seconds of arrival)
* The Ice Cream machine at Nana and Papa's. I think K could now get a job at the DQ.
* Kaitlynn learning how to do the monkey bars all by herself - wow!
It was just so much fun and we can't wait to go back again soon - we always run out of time for all the fun things there are to do.
